CANCELLED ORDERS

Due to high volumes of fraudulent charges we have received in the past, we want to make sure we are taking the steps to protect our customers as well as our company. 

We use a company a secondary company, which reviews all orders that come through our system. If your order has been cancelled, it means some of the information on your order is suspicious, or that your profile matches that of a similar fraud order we've previously seen. In most cases, the system might flag your order if you are using a credit card that has a different billing address than your shipping address, or if the name on either is different than the billing details of your credit card. I hope you can understand why we're being cautious to double check that these order details are correct.

Our e-mail system and our fraud partner's system is encrypted, which means your information is safe when you send it to us. To proceed with your order we do have to verify your information. Please send us an email that includes one or both of these documents along with your order number:

1. Two (2) proper identification with proof of address (a driver's license or government issued ID)
2. Copy of credit card statement that reflects your purchase

Once a member of the team has assisted you, we will get a response within 48 hours. After which your order will automatically proceed to processing (if approved), or cancelled (if not approved).

SHIPPING

La Mine d'Or offers complementary shipping for orders above $1,000 within Canada. Standard shipping fee is $30.00. All orders within Canada is delivered the next business day thru FedEx. Signature will be required. If no one is at the address, couriers may reattempt the delivery. If FedEx is not available on your location, we will ship via Purolator or Canada Post. For international orders, the shipping fee is $120.00 plus fees. *some exceptions may apply. 

Orders will be received and processed within 2-3 business days, once payment authorization and verification have been obtained. Please allow up to 2-5 business days for shipments to be delivered. Shipping times may take longer during holidays and may also vary depending on item stock and availability.

ALL merchandise purchased from laminedor.ca will be shipped via priority courier delivery. 

RETURN & EXCHANGE

We offer 30 days full money back returns and 45 days exchange. Products discounted 20% or more are final sale only. Purchases for Holiday gift giving are available for Return or Exchange for 15 days post the holiday. Example: Christmas gifts purchased in early December or late November are eligible for exchange or return for 15 days after December 25th.

To be eligible for return or exchange, all items must be unworn, in the original condition of purchase, with no engraving, customizations or sizing performed. 

FINANCING

In-Store

- 6 Months – on all store items over $500 retail including all watch brands and other manufactured brands.
- 12 months – on all store items over $1,500 retail excluding all watch brands.
- Financing is only applicable on items without discount.
- SALE items and special promotions are note eligible for financing.

THE LA MINE D'OR GUARANTEE

La Mine d'Or includes a two-year manufacturers warranty for each piece of jewellery sold under conditions of normal wear and tear. This time period starts from the date of pick-up from our store or delivery date for an online purchase. If a problem should arise during this two-year time period, we kindly ask you to bring in the jewellery item, along with the bill of sale, for our inspection. La Mine d'Or reserves the right to determine whether the condition of the jewellery piece falls under our warranty guidelines.

If it is found that the issue falls under our warranty, we will gladly repair the item at no charge. If the issue falls outside of what is considered normal wear and tear for jewellery or is outside of the two year time period, we will repair or replace at the fairest price possible.

Please note, this warranty excludes the centre diamond(s) or centre gemstone(s) of an engagement ring or right-hand ring. While diamonds are the hardest known natural material, they can be susceptible to chipping or breakage when struck at just the right angle or position. In these unforeseen cases, La Mine d'Or recommends having your piece of jewellery insured and scheduled with your local insurance provider.

At La Mine d'Or, we go above and beyond the industry standards to offer diamonds selected for their ethical and environmentally responsible origins. Every loose & set diamond from La Mine d'Or is conflict-free and certified by the top grading laboratories. Our diamonds are purchased directly from the World's leading diamond manufacturers.

The Kimberley Process

The Kimberley Process (KP) is a commitment to remove conflict diamonds from the global supply chain. Today, participants actively prevent 99.8% of the worldwide trade. The Kimberley Process is open to all countries that are willing and able to implement its requirements. The KP has 55 participants, representing 82 countries, with the European Union and its 27 Member States counting as a single participant, represented by the European Commission. KP members account for approximately 99.8% of the global production of rough diamonds.
